LIZARD CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN WAS FIRST USED IN THE INDOCHINA CONFLICT BY THE FRENCH FOREIGN LEGION ELITE FORCES AND THE PARATROOPERS AND WAS ALSO USED IN THE FRENCH ALGERIAN WAR ERA FROM (1954- 1960)  THIS PATTERN IS KNOWN AS PATTERN D AND WAS USED ONLY ON THE SHELTER QUARTERS ALTHOUGH SOME MILITARY PERSONAL DID MAKE HELMET COVERS BERETS AND CLOTHING OUT OF THEM.
