    GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL piece made in USSR, not a replica or non-Soviet manufacture! Used by forward observers and sniper teams to enable them to see without being seen. Rugged steel construction to withstand wartime field conditions. The pointed top is ideal for forcing through thatched rooftops, holes in fences, brush, etc. High quality item with clean 4x optics and adjustable focus.
    Outstanding fully functioning condition with an almost untouched coat of old gray paint that has only a few small marks from storge – no significant wear or blemishes. Shows 1946 date of manufacture, maker's logo, individual serial number 01548, and an additional mark with a 1954 date when the periscope was examined / serviced before it was put into permanent storage as was routine procedure in the Soviet military.
